Hi all,
I've been riding in the MUSA shorts with aussie wool underneath for longer
rides and am looking for some replacement shorts. Now that these are
discontinued anyone have any suggestions of similar gusseted shorts with no

Alternately anyone have any large Musas they want to get rid

Hi folks-
I'm Todd from Ditmas Park. I commute daily to midtown along Kent on my
Atlantis but would love to cruise around with like minded folks on some
weekend mornings. I did have the pleasure of bumping into Kai once on his
Mountain Mixte and riding down first avenue with him. Would love to

Hey that was me on the 62 QB which must have been repainted by the previous
owner. I'm six months into owning it and am loving it (although considering
making it more upright as the reach is a little long). I also have a 60
Ram in Blue and have seen you before hauling through LIC on that mixte
I have an 86 PBH and am 6'0" overall and am quite happy on a 60cm ram with
drops. I think you should go with 62.

Hi I have a set of 45mm hammered honjos over a set of 35mm Bon Jon Pass
tires on a 62 Quickbeam and the fit is TIGHT at the rear brake bridge. That
said it works. I cant imagine 38s with this setup. I avoid the wheel
removal problem by using a Phil hub where I remove the axle completely from

Mark- When I was out from NYC to Riv headquarters in October they measured my
pbh at 87.5. They loaned my son and me a pair of atlantises and I rode the 56cm
all over town and Shell ridge trails. I loved the 56 and I usually ride larger
bikes on road (60 ram, 62 quickbeam). I tried the 59 but f
This thread as well as Bill Lindsay's recent posts inspired me. I pulled the
trigger on a 56 Atlantis yesterday. I also have a 62 Quickbeam and a 60 Ram,
both bought on second hand market, but am looking forward to my first
Riv-assembled build with the customizations I want.

Hey I'm in Brooklyn so you can check mine out when it arrives (although it
will likely be awhile as wheels need to be built etc.). I'd be interested
in trying out the Cheviot.
Actually seems to be a bigger Riv community here in NYC metro than I
thought. Let's get a ride together in spring. Happy
I love the Minnewaska idea. Did some hiking up there in early December and wish

I would prefer having April 18th-28th as blackout dates as well. NYC public
schools spring break too.
Looking forward to this. Thanks for planning!

I have only done 2 rides but my first one - - about a 40 miler - - did offer a
little off road terrain out by JFK including gravel, loose sand, railbed sized
rock. The tires performed great and felt real pillowy over it all. They also
rolled well on the road regardless of the little nubs w
Do they fit a 34 waist? If so I'll take em. Interestingly I fit a medium in the
