My first tour with my wife was down the Saint Lawrence River. Down wind, French
food, excellent Quebec cycling culture, excellent Quebec park and camping
system, and the very civilized Route Verte system.

We have a few Riv’s in our club, the NBW which has Sunday rides all year
long in RI, Eastern CT, and SE Mass.
I ride a QB fixed, and my wife a Saluki (although to be honest she is a
warm weather rider). There are a few Ram’s too

There are other options too
Rocks for Tandems attach the front fork elevated above the rail, giving
clearance for fenders. There are also the old style two piece systems that
have a tray for the rebar wheel attaching to the rear cross bar, and a
separate mounting point on the front cross bar for

rest was ok, just cooked from the upwind ride. My normal cold weather
equipment is a layered approach, and thin wool socks, thick wool socks, and a
goretex oversock with Shimano sandles. The feet are well insulated, not
constricted, and don't have booty/shoe/cleat holes

The rims were by Araya. I am not sure they are available in the United States
anymore. Fyi, not much wear on rims from breaking as the bike was set up with a
fixed gear.
