Thanks! I am considering a Sweetpea bike (Little Black Dress modified slightly

to Bryan Hollingsworth at Royal H and he is willing to make another suitable

What a gorgeous bike -- I'll keep a look for it down here in Ventura! I'm
still looking for Manny's from last year. . .
I've had a serious talk with our pawn shops and have rewards offered for high

What a great group - Good luck getting the bike back!! I wouldn't want
to own a bike with that history, for one. Bad karma.
My other thought is that if the seller is an actual business - you
could bring a suit for conversion or other torts. . .
BTW, I'm still looking for Manny's bike to s
I will say, as the owner of a double tube mixte custom from Royal H (the
lovelybike frame that was stolen but I got back!). The bike is unusually
flexible at high speeds going downhill. There is quite a bit of flex in the
frame generally. I will test it out with lowered panniers in the next m

Thanks All! Well, the good news is USAA (my insurance) will pay for
replacement cost - I've never made a claim before -- so I'm thrilled about
that. . . It does make the pain a bit less. I still think it's so unique (like
many of the Rivs) that it seems impossible it won't turn up!
