The Wilson Creek area is beautiful - but is pretty remote and about 1.5 hrs
from Asheville. Closer to Asheville there are some great fire roads and
mellow singe track at Bent Creek Experimental Forest that is connected to
the NC Arboretum. I ride there all the time and it is just about perfect

+++1 for the 1 UP. I've had one for about a year and it's the best rack
I've ever had. Rock solid with zero sway, and it only touches the wheels
and can be configured for 1 - 4 bikes, with an add-on carrier for each one.
That way the pieces can be added separately and individually don't weigh
nearly new Nitto big front rack that has two attachment
pieces that fit fine on my Hunq. Asking $145 shipped. I bought this from a
list member a while ago and never used it.
