Hi Joe, looking at your 55 Cheviot, you may have higher pbh. I once bought
a 55 Cheviot but sold it since I need to shove the seat post all the way
down even with
+1 on John’s recommendation.
I use the Bike Tow leash on my 3 year old Belgian Malinois.
Its expensive but well worth it.

As usual, nice pictures Patrick!
Btw, what do you use to mount your phone/camera to take those pictures?
Happy New Year!

Which particular Suntour thumb shifter can be used for 8 speed cogs?

Thanks for the "Tacx T4415 Cartridge Tool" tip.
Will definitely get one for my tool kit.
It's definitely a bugger to remove specially if the threads of the bottom
bracket were not chased before installation.

I have been patiently waiting for new rims for my Susie ever since I read
the news that Rivendell is working with Velocity for a new rim for their
Hillibikes.
I sent Velocity an email to check if they are still doing this project with
Rivendell and this is the reply I got.

Hi Ed,
Thanks for the link.
I am hoping that Velocity will build the widest practical rim for Grant's
planned V-brakes.
Same here, I want to have my Susie as a dedicated trail bike :-)
By the way, could you send a picture and specs of your proto Gus? :-)

Hi Oliver,
Same here and currently ~152 lbs so seriously considering a Susie but I
plan to use the hillbike on the GDMBR loaded.
But with all the camping gear, it would still make sense to use the GBW :-)

Hey, someone should purchase this 53 Atlantis.
By the way, this particular size is not anymore available from Riv.

Thanks Doug, unfortunately according to Riv sizing chart the 53 is too
large.

Agree!
If it were not for the GBW I would be getting this Cheviot.
Someone should grab this! :-)
