After three years of ownership, I’m going to tackle a few “shorter” brevets on
my Homer this Spring. I typically a have the Nitto/Rivendell rack on the back
for commuting with panniers. I also have a Nitto front rack and a rando bag.

I did 21 of the 116 miles of the Detour de Connecticut on my Custom with my
nine year old on Saturday. On Sunday, I drove to New Hampshire to pick-up my
new project "beater bike"---a 1970s Peugeot PX50. I took the PX for a 1.5 hour
spin and quickly missed the more generous gearing of my Homer.
I've been using them on my 650b Homer for about a 1000 miles. Two flats so
