I've got dibs on a 55cm in submarine green at noon! I'm about 5' 10.5" with
about an 85cm pbh, barefoot. I have a good idea of fit because of my 55cm

Haven't read everything in this thread, but if you haven't tried using
carbon friction paste, you should. There should be no need to go with a
larger stem + shim for proper clamping. Be sure to thread all x4 screws in
slight increments evenly before torquing them down, also critical.

Apparently I do *not* have dibs one a 55cm Submarine Green Atlantis! Was
ready to go at noon, apparently the time it took for me to change my
shipping address was enough to sell out in the first minute.

Brent, they are indeed out of stock on the submarine green. Not just saying
this to get mine, talked with someone there. The photos they took show the
color so so well. Can't bring myself to have a sergio green atlantis.

If you're not going "gonzo off-road", it sounds like your desire for the
beauty of an Atlantis outweighs any difference in off-road capabilities
between the two. However, this is very much a fantasy, as even finding an
Atlantis in your size will be a challenging feat. Plus I'm your size, and

Look like a good 25.4 alternative to the Simworks Fun 3 bar, which was the
next one I wanted to play with. Looks like I'll also be trying this new bar
instead, no need to purchase a 31.8 quill stem.

Looks like a decent way to dent your downtube eventually? I think Grant
would very much approve.

At first it was a mix, but now I step through 100% of the time. I'm 34
years old and have zero mobility issues (do a lot of gymnast training), but
it's a nice convenience. Also just an elegant way to dismount a bike. I

Speaks to the merits of having as little bikes as one needs. As life goes

actual bike rides) are the best ones to make. I rebuilt my road and

While this thread is up, might as well mention that if anyone would like to
sell their 55cm submarine green atlantis, to message me. ;)

I'm so surprised to see so many preferring <40mm tires. Once companies like
Rene Herse started making nicer tires in wider widths, I have zero desire
to go back. Being able to glide through a sections of rough asphalt, or
being able to say yes to any fire road, or even singletrack, that crosses

Keith! This is epic. I couldn't understand if you guys took the train from
LA, or were you already in the bay? So inspirational as I am around the

Really helpful to hear the difference between the two. We just moved into a
new place and no longer have a garage. With x2 bikes barely ridden in the
