Once you try straps, you’ll never go to bungee cords again. One Irish strap is
all you need for this particular load, but

The great thing about bike baskets is their versatility, and with a cargo net,
you don’t have to use a basket specific bag. You can switch them out depending

I love Boscos and I love bar end shifters; however, I would recommend to check
your clearance with your knees. I think Boscos are great for larger bikes. I
used them originally on my bike, but I have a smaller frame and knee clearance
was a big issue unfortunately :(

Blakcloud: as far as I know, the Betty Foy was slightly redesigned and renamed

Could be that choice of brake pads may improve (or not) your braking power, at
least in my experience. My side-pull brakes work great here in hilly rainy
Seattle. That said, lately I’m having not-so-great results with salmon pads in

It may look like a hassle at first for acquiring the necessary stuff and
thoroughly cleaning the chain to prep it for waxing. This is only done ONCE.
Thereafter, it takes only five minutes (+30 min of heating and letting it cool
down) every three or so weeks in dry weather, every week

are the bees knees :)

I once tried it with a trailer and my 40ish-pound dog, and she jumped out of it

No extra fees for the BoltBus, and no reservation needed. It is first come
first served, which can be problematic on trips when there’s lots of luggage,
and people cut in front to put their bag first, so you have to move them out of
