Hi All,
Surprising lack of interest in this QB...I should have sold it at the
beginning of the summer, but was hoping for a tour that didn't happen.
How about a price reduction to $1200 ?

Thanks for the info. I found that I changed the gears only once in the time
that I owned it, and not likely to do it again. Just lazy. I have another fixed
gear I use around town.

Sorry, that sucks.
My experience with bike shops packing bikes has not been good. Mostly this
has happened when I'm traveling away from home, and don't have the
facilities to do it myself. It's often relegated to the low person on the
totem pole of the shop, since it requires no special skill
Wow...just Wow! What a story, and beautifully written. Something for all
of us to learn from this, especially in the current climate...it's all
about human to human interactions. We can't fix the world but we can do
individual things that make a difference.
Leah, best of luck with your upcom
Hi All,
Changing a few things on a new to me QB, and was wondering how others have them
set up. For the rear I have a 17/21 dingle that I want to use, but haven't
decided about the front. Single or double chainring?
Would love to hear what others have used, and for what purpose, I.e. around

Hi Craig,
Thanks for the interesting info. I’ve had some experience with fixed gear
riding, just locally and on a much lighter bike. Having the QB now, with those
great track dropouts, I thought I should take advantage and make a multi-gear
fixie. This would allow me to extend my travels out
Hi All,
It was me (I ?) who organized the meet up a few years ago and I'm
definitely up for another one. Problem is, I'm traveling a lot this month
and March...I am free this Wednesday 2/21 if that works for some. We met
at the beer hall in Greenpoint (name??)
Of course, y'all don't have to w

Hi All,
I'm going to Austin for a week to escape NE winter and explore a new (to
me) city. Would appreciate any recs for riding and/or shops.
Will be there for 6 days.
Thanks,

Riv content: I'm bringing the fixie frame I built that is set up like QB: 2
chainrings and 2 cogs.

Hello All,
Interesting thread! I've been convinced about the benefits of low carbs
for awhile now, even though compliance is spotty.
I'm very interested in the fasting aspect, and am reading the book
mentioned in another post about it. I would love to hear more about
fasting from real people
About how long is the threaded portion of the steerer on a 62 cm QB? Trying to
raise stem to max without damage.
Thanks,
Alan

Hi All,
Jan did a review of the Quickbeam in BQ #12, summer 2005. I thought I had
the complete collection but apparently not. Anyone know how to access it
on the internets?
Thanks,
Alan
