Great report and very nice looking custom. 3 questions:
* What are the frame angles?
* How much head tube extension is there? Looks like more than 1"
* Are you cutting the steerer tube flush at the top or are you going to
extend the steerer tube and use spacers?

Would using a button head bolt provide more clearance to the rear tire.
The cap head bolt seems very close to the tire.

The Actual Wrap Capacity you have is 49T, based on your 44/24 rings and
11/40 rear (20 + 29 =49). The RD-M772 is designed for Wrap Capacity of

Saw the new Dia Compe 610 CP brake on RBW and the Grant 'post' stating the

The AHH fits me, as far as I can tell using stack/reach/STA/HTA and my

Here is a link to Compass recommendations of tire sizes for Honjo fenders,
with a listing of fenders and tire sizes.
It also shows the original idea of fender size being 40% greater than tire
size, so a 38mm tire requires a 53.2mm fender. a 50 mm fender is 31.5%
wider than 38mm fender,

Here is a listing of 4 Nitto bars, same or similar to your list, with drop,
reach, flare, rise (on randonneur type), all dimensions in cm, Reach is
Center to Center (note, Compass Randonneur is spec’d Center to End so C-C
= C-E-1.1)
The table has 2 typos, the REACH is C-C, not C-E, and the B135 reach was
C-E. Corrected tale below
