We're bordering here on losing track of the information provided. The very tall stem slammed into the butted section of the headtube is a one-off temporary swap onto Leah's Raspberry Platy, she was not previously running stems dropped that low on any of her bikes. Not the cause of the tic-ing.

Thanks, Nick and Garth. In fact, I learned that RH hopes to restock the SKF in 126 within a month or so, so I will hold out for that period. Question: The SKF bb has cups with integral shoulders. I take it that this means that if you want to offset the spindle a couple of mm to the right (I think

The 32R would not leave me enough room for a fender, or rather, I think the fender would fit but would require some means of attachment to the rack to avoid rattling against it. Neither the 33R nor the 32R has such a downward-facing boss, and even if they did I wouldn't care for the whole drill

I tried the medium big bag rack on my 60 cm Sam Hillborne. It cleared the wheels, but not by a lot. I tried mounting them with fenders on and that was a no go. I suspect it might be fine depending on the frame geo and size, but if you have a 60cm Sam, I would avoid it. On Tuesday 15 October 202
