that take spacers between the arm and the cup. It makes more sense that
way, but this bb definitely seems to require spacers next to the shell.

Keith, road bike double crank chainline spec is always 43.5mm. Are you
measuring between the rings ?

I'm going flat on my touring bike but there is too much total overlap on one of

I have XTRs and XTs and even SPD (mtb-type SPD) Dura Ace, but in my
experience the PD M520 is about the best value in a clipless pedal that you
can find in this galaxy.
Always ask for Shimano SPD and accept no substitutes. I've used non-Shimano
clones and ... nope, choose Shimano.

Patrick, tires are Soma Cazadero 700x50mm. They’re an underrated gravel
tire I think. Fast, very light, supple, perform pretty well in a variety of
conditions and terrains, dry and wet.

Just curious, if you are using 11sp, why not use integrated
shifters/levers? To each their own for sure, but I can't imagine DT
shifters on a mixed-surface trail unless it's really smooth.. heck, I don't

I used to own this bike. It was a demo that I bought complete from
Rivendell. I sold it to a forum member and he’s the one who added the
disc mounts. He listed it for sale not long after that as I remember. I
still have the original unadulterated fork.

I recommend using the A600 if you can find them, because (similar to most
road pedals) they return to the upright position with the pedal
perpendicular to the ground, so you can clip in without looking. The ES600
spins 360, so the pedal can be upside down or any which way when you go to
clip back
I went with 11s and a single DT shifter (I'm running 1x11) and I treat my
