Thanks Mark.
It’s a super-cool bike. If nobody buys it soon I’m tempting myself to keep it
and use it as a second gravel bike. :)
I’d probably have to throw out our lawnmower to fit another bike in our shed,
however!

This's a very good deal! The next batch is probably 18 month out or longer.
Of the two Rivs and two other bikes I have Susie is the one that gets
ridden the most these days. Gravel rides with kid's trailer attached,
grocery runs, bring take out food from next town, a 8-mile quick fitness
ride
Thanks everybody :^)
So the V-O Zeppelins are really too narrow, correct? They would (of
course) work but would become the tire size limiter rather than the
frame/fork clearance... Does anyone in the U.S. sell the 60mm Berthouds?
I also stumbled across the PDW Full Metal Beast 65mm fenders, pric

I know somwone who was running 700x2.35 G-Ones under 63mm Velo Orange
fluted fenders. They've since downsized to 700x2.2 and fit it good. I hope
to have a reason to try them out this winter

Looks great Paul. Makes sense to give it a try, such a unique bicycle.
Since Susie's first cousin, El Clem, already has Boscos, I wanted something
different. I've got a few options, including Choco-Moose, but I decided to
try VO's Klunker bars. It goes well with my BMX homage build, even though
If the VOs turn out to be to narrow, try Colin at Kelpie who makes custom
fat tire fenders in a thicker gauge of aluminum with 6.5 mm instead of 5 mm

more but said they were so strong that, when he collected a stick under hi
The Monocog came with a Ranger in front but a narrower tire in back; I'd
like another Ranger for the rear.
Tire need not be new but should be no more than middle aged.
Thanks.

Hi all – I just installed a set of Silver shifters, mounted to Shimano
pods. The rear derailleur is working great, with a light touch. However the
front derailleur requires some serious English in order to shift up (adding
tension). The lever moves normally with the wingnut snugged up when the
I’ve been using Dumonde Tech for a number of years and like it. I use it
year round, and it seems to do the job for me. It lasts somewhere around
150 miles or so before I feel the need to wipe the chain down and re-apply
the lube.
Around a year ago, a friend gave me a bottle of Muc Off dry l
Always looking for a few more of these rims.
32 hole. Black (with silver brake tracks) in pairs or as singles, or other
colors if in pairs. Very nice rims for 26" road wheels, a true 400 grams
each.
No longer sold new by any vendor I've found.
Thanks.
