Try Simworks if you want aluminum fenders. I have an MIT Atlantis with 700
x 55c Rene Herse Antelope Hill tires. Simworks has a fenders all the way up

I think all of VO's fenders are the same length. If anything, the fender
may grow slightly in overall length. The squeezing of the sides is going
to cause the fenders to slightly stretch. Think about squeezing a piece of
playdough (or real dough!?). If you smash a round ball, you get a much
