Thanks Keith. Yeah I was a little banged up but amazingly nothing serious,
definitely lucky. I'm 90% sure the frame is fine / not bent, but guess I
won't know until I can ride it again (once I get a straight fork).
Keep the rubber side down and watch out for aggressive trees man :)

Very nice. A different reward for a ride in July than mine on Saturday.

R Gonet: I live on Pikes Peak. I generally see Columbine from 7-10k feet.
Near you, they'll be all over Estes Park or the Never Summers.
Andy: That sounds ominous. What happened?

These are nice bikes. If it were a 58-60cm, I would consider buying a
second one.
Good luck with the sale.

Wow that is epic! I can't imagine riding around there with a couple fixed
cogs. It's challenging enough doing a regular unloaded ride with wide-range
gearing!
I also wish I lived in that part of the world - for the riding at least.

I planned a nIce 80 mile ride down the GAP starting from home, and it began
with 40 miles of pouring rain.
Different regions welcome the seasons differently. We have no shortage of
water. Stayed clean if not dry. Celebrated all of it though, any day I can
ride is a nice day for a ride.

Hi:
My 64 cm Atlantis (SN AT1001) was stolen on 6/16 in the north central
Phoenix area from my locked garage. It was also stolen in 2009 but I
managed to get it back due to some great detective work. I posted on some
local groups and some guys were trying to sell it at one of the local bike

Thanks for all the suggestions. I also have a pair of the Keen commuters,
which are pretty good, but my feet like the Austin pedlars better. The
good news is I have found them. They were hiding in a little used gym bag.
I have no idea how they got there!

This *Sat. July 8*, a no-drop, family-friendly bike ride after coffee on
the SF Bay Trail. About 13 miles (total out and back) on a paved, no-car
path (minus 2 miles on regular streets) from the trailhead to Marina Park
in San Leandro. We're gathering at the green marker on the map below and

Beauty! Worth noting that this is basically a Homer Hilsen for anyone who

This ride report is simply delightful. That Quickbeam set-up has

no more than 40psi. depending on your weight, you'd probably be able to run as
low as 28 or so.

So, I am not sure why the Boscos didn't work ("too flexy"), but that is
what I used when the Albatross was too far a reach. Looking at the bike, I
wonder if the shorter stem with the Boscos would work. But, I don't know if
that will create a bike sufficiently different from your other bikes...
I've heard that before. What the max wheel size?

It’s totally possible I should try the bosco’s again, though I think I’m more
inclined to find a less upright approach. Anything somewhere between an
albastache and an albatross?
