Come on,
someone out there must have a 48cm Bomba. Send a pic, please. (I
checked all the Bombas on google images, cyclofiend, and flickr, not a
48 to be found...) :(

Actually, the Salsa Moto Ace Bell Lap bars should take bar ends. They
are stock on the Fargo XT. Then the bar clamp is 26.0. Salsa also
has a copy of the DD bars called the Woodchipper. But, as you say,
both are black. Still, have been contemplating something like that
myself.

I'm glad to hear this- I like my 46cm noodle bars for offroad, but

understand it, the dirt-drops are kind of like this.I dunno,
they're both really cool bars.

My search turned up nothing too, and I thought I was good at
searching. Sometimes Riv takes a few shots for a customer as it's
going out the door. I suppose it's possible a 48 was never built up,
but send them a note and ask - might be they have a few pics that have
never been put up on the site. I

I haven't been following the thread, but I've found that higher bars, for me,
cause hand and wrist pain. Keeping the bars about 2 inches lower than saddle
height keeps me happy.

Got the number right, but all I could think of was "crustacean-like

sure all arthropods are crustaceans, not to mention trilobites. Might

You should generally have the reach in your drops so that it is level
with tyre contact. This is affected by the height of fitment, steerer
angle and fork rake as well as reach of the bars and stem extension.

I have an almost new Acorn tan roll bag I'm selling. $50 including
shipping in conusa. I used it a couple of times and then decided I
liked the black one better. There are little marks on the straps from
the saddle and I also applied Obenauf to make the leather more supple,
so they aren't as shiny.

Those cards don't depict Trilobites, but what some think are
predecessors, those soft shelled creatures had no hard parts.
Trilobites which are from the Phylum Arthropda lived during the
Paleozoic era and had hard shells leaving excellent fossil records.
