Interesting. I wonder if that set-up will work on the frames that take 700c wheels. It's nice to have options. On May 23, 4:45 am, "Bryan @ Renaissance Bicycles" wrote: > Thanks for the complements, Rob. > > We used sidepulls at the customer's request; this bike will be his > urban / suburban da

[RBW] Adventures on Atlantis or "what's the worst that can happen?"

2009-05-23 Thread EricP
Decided this morning to go on the Hiawatha Cyclery weekly ride. The plan was about 15 miles of off road. Fairly flat rocky trail. Complication one - when I got up this morning it was raining. Okay. Maybe it'll stop by the time to ride down there. Check. So get out the Atlantis as that might b

What is this rain and mud of which you speak??? :-) BTW, what type of rim was it and what did you replace it with? Cheers, David On Sat, May 23, 2009 at 5:28 PM, EricP wrote: > > Decided this morning to go on the Hiawatha Cyclery weekly ride. The > plan was about 15 miles of off road. Fairl

Yes, indeed, what is this "rain" business? I rode today and all the vegetation is already turning a nice shade of brown here. Dave in Redding, CA where it's 90º until way past dinner time... - Original Message - From: David Estes To: rbw-owners-bunch@googlegroups.com Sent: Sat

Rob, thanks for info re. the Tektros. They look like a good deal and readily available. On an M-bar, I don't think the thickness would matter much for me... I don't use the aero "resting on the bodies" position much, and when I do, I'm holding them sideways so I don't *think *it would matter. I'
