Thanks for the complements, Rob.
We used sidepulls at the customer's request; this bike will be his

would better suit his needs. Fenders will probably be added in the
near future.
One thing to note on the brakes: We installed th

Interesting. I wonder if that set-up will work on the frames that take
700c wheels. It's nice to have options.

plan was about 15 miles of off road. Fairly flat rocky trail.
Complication one - when I got up this morning it was raining. Okay.
Maybe it'll stop by the time to ride down there. Check. So get out

My brother in law crashed my all-rounder today and totally tweaked my brake
lever. My fault for taking him on a trail that was above his level, so
can't complain too much. Only caualty was the lever. It's an old non-aero
lever that has a quick-release built into it. VERY useful for me when

I love the Tektros. I'm even putting them on my 71 chrome
ParamountGASP!! I'm 99% certain they are the same as the Cane
Creeks (I have a pair of both and they're identical). That being said,
they are much thicker than the Shimanos and I'm not sure how they'd
feel on a moustache bar.

Rob, thanks for info re. the Tektros. They look like a good deal and
readily available.
On an M-bar, I don't think the thickness would matter much for me... I don't
use the aero "resting on the bodies" position much, and when I do, I'm
holding them sideways so I don't *think *it would matter.
