It was about 40. So warm enough.
Yes, a hobo up front. A favorite for longer jaunts. My camera fits
well in one of the rear pockets.

Nice pictures, Eric. I always like to see bike pictures and yours are
great. Nice ride, too. I was out yesterday on a bike too, but I didn't
take pictures. 40 was plenty warm for me but I did have on a light jacket.
I am not from the UP. Cheers,

No pix, but I, too, Quickbeamed around the SF Bay yesterday, some 74 miles.
Gorgeous day, and I did pick up more sun than I should have. I rode to my
grandson's little league game in the city of Alameda from my home in SF, via
Sawyer Camp Trail along the Crystal Springs reservoir, Canada road in

Wow Eric, that weather looks so nice. Imagine that, the sun shinning
on a brevet! A 300k no less. Our 200k yesterday didn't look anything
like that. Are you doing an entire super rando series on a tandem?
Wasn't there talk of a Rivendell tandem years ago? I'm sure they'd
want to do it but I imagi
Yeah, temps were up almost 80. We were reapplying sunscreen several
times.
A Riv tandem would be nice, but I'd hate to even think about sourcing
the many unique lugs you'd need to build one. Maybe find an older
lugged steel tandem and rebadge it as a Resurrectio? Our Santana is

Here's a ride report:

I've decided to post ride reports related to my pursuit of completing
a super rando series on a blog. I'll probably make comments about
books I'm reading here also.

I also Quickbeamed all around San Diego this weekend - mostly city
riding. The weather was sunny and warm on Saturday, and overcast and
cool today. What fun! Nice to know we were all riding similarly in
different places.

That's a ditto - I priced adding couplers to my Atlantis which pretty much
requires a repaint, and there wasn’t much change coming back from my
thousand dollar bill.
