Hey, we have to brave the elements, too! Its 55F out...
I'm stuck working today. I noodled into work on my Surly with 700c x
44 WTB Mutano Raptors. They worked well in the slushy icyness. Picking
a good line through the slush was almost like riding singletrack. The
Albatross bars I put on the bike last week worked well in the snow.
As for planing... W

I'm available any time. Are you guys free during the week or only weekends?
Where does everyone live? I'm in Irvine.
BTW, that last day of the tour will be interesting. The climb up Mt Palomar
will be the place to be but Highland Valley Rd, just east of Rancho

I'm available anytime as well... but am guessing weekend would be better for
most normal people... I am definitely not one of those...

Oh right. I'm in Portland Oregon where we've gotten snow daily for the
past week. Obviously it's not as much as those in other parts of the
country but it's a lot for us. Because it isn't really a yearly
occurence the city has very limited resources for dealing with it.

Can someone who knows please go over the differences between the all
rounder and the Atlantis. I've done some searching but can't seem to

that's slightly quicker handling for unloaded rides but that's
comfortable too. Thanks.

Hi hihi, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the original Waterford
built Rivendell All Rounders were closer to the current AHH bikes, but w/
canti brakes. Conversely, you could say they are like the Atlanti but with
lighter tubing.
I would guess this or any AR would meet your needs just s

Don't know exactly what route Will took, but I circumnavigated NYC on
my Atlantis last year before some of the most recent sections of bike
path opened and I estimated the distance at around 30 miles, give or
take a couple miles. There are decidedly rough sections and on-street
detours, especiall
unfortunatly , I'm one of those guys that have a job so the weekend is
best for me. BTW- what kind of ride are we talking here, as far as

Due to health issues, I have not been able to ride my Rambouillet. It
belongs on the road, so I'm trying to find it a good home.
Asking $1500 for the bike:
64 cm, green, 46 c-to-c Noodle handlebars, Brooks B-17 saddle, Honjo
hammered fenders, Zefal frame pump, Spanninga tail light mounted on
rear
This ride intrigues me to no end... sounds like a really cool way to get out
and about.
