I have found that, upon aligning new pads as best I can, if there still is some
squeal then an application of water (splash from garden hose), or riding in the
rain somehow makes the squeal immediately go away, and stay away even after
everything dries out. Maybe the water helps the pads break i
I always thought it happened when the brake pad gripped and came loose from
the rim at a high enough rate to cause a flutter, which happens when
they're not toed in...
The chicken makes two tones too, front and back...
