This makes me wonder why I never bring a film camera on a ride. Thank you
for sharing.

Thank you! It's a 61. I've been enjoying tinkering, riding, adjusting,
riding, tinkering some more, riding, and then thinking about more tinkering
and riding.

Kim,
The part of Old La Honda between Skyline (Hwy 35) and La Honda (Hwy 84) is
open after repairs. Since I hadn’t ridden it in 2 years, I didn’t notice
which part was repaired, but the road was in fine shape. I hope to take a
left and ride to the coast in 2025, but on Monday, I took a right on
Another stunning photo, Jason! Yes, I'll happily follow you into the dark
forest and bring the Pilsner. However, it seems mead or barley wine may be
a more appropriate pairing.
See you in the Spring!

Jason,
Wow! Just, wow! That is a very gorgeous forest indeed! I'm enchanted and
will be planning a road trip there in the Spring to see those trees myself.
Wow!
Cheers, John

Agreed. I've realized since having it that it's indeed a very un-Riv color.
The closest I can think of off the top of my head is the copper color that
certain Legolas models were painted years back. But it's lovely in person
and a great match for the cream highlights and AHH graphics.

Hey Eric,
What's the story on the brown Homer? It looks great, but that doesn't seem
like a typical Riv color. Was this a custom paint job?

That is a remarkable photo. Jason, were any of the effect augmented
photographically, or is this a “straightforward” photo? The photo makes me
think of a scene in Lothlorien.

Hi John. That’s what you might call the Proto-Saluki frame for 650b, made
in 2004, I think, by Curt Goodrich. He rode it quite a bit, I believe,
before selling it on another board. From that second owner, another South
Florida list member and I have owned it in turns for several years.
