Franco: Building a bike from the frame up is always expensive if you buy the parts one by one. Best is if you have a deep parts bin. If not, the cheapest way would be to buy a late 80s to early 90s mountain bike in good shape, something nobody lusts after, and move the parts over. Pay attention
