Am to the point of thinking 38s (on a 700C wheel) are the narrowest I'll
go. Even my 26" wheel bike with 50mm tires seems narrow some days. Maybe
a fat bike is in my future.

Ecstatic to get a mid-day ride in this time of year. Typically it's 95F by
11:00 and not so fun. If I can get enough of the local movers and shakers
on board with this, it might become a deal out here.

I have a couple rides I'm building up. If things work out, might work with
some other people to design an event ride. Sort of a SoCal D2R2 but on a
smaller scale. Stay tuned!
