Thanks for all the congrats. Yes, it will be odd to have all those cogs,
mechs and cables cluttering up the frame. But at 55 it is probably unwise to
take my first long distance loaded tour on a single speed. And heck, if I
ever decide to fixify it, I can always take Dremel and hacksaw to it.
