Hi Folks,
I just scored a 61 Atlantis complete from an incredibly pleasant seller on
Craigslist. The price was too good to be true (the seller had the original
owner's manual, so nothing sketchy) and the paint is a nice Coleman green
with cream accents. I have had a few Rivs pass through my h
Very nice Chris! I fully get the scrambler look reference.

I love that fat tire look.
I have "patinated" cranks and (unpatinated) front derailleurs if you need them
for the build.

Dear Chris,
Congratulations on the bike. I look forward to seeing more photos as the build
progresses. As I age, I find the anticipation almost as good as the thing
anticipated.
My Atlantis, which has the same lug work as yours, remains my favorite bike.
Wishing you countless happy miles.

Erl,
I am so happy you like the bike. The build looks awesome! I really like how
the bike looks with those big apples. I am glad to see the Atlantis went to a
good home. I hope you have many more enjoyable miles with the bike.

Superlatives are inadequate. I am thrilled and contented with my Atlantis.

My thanks to Matt Gilkey (for a great transaction on the frame, fork,hs, and
stem) and Peter G (handlebars and both sets of brake levers.). Brian Te
Congratulations, Forrest. A bike that has beauty and utility along with
style a fair amount of speed. Excellent choice and nice set-up.
Let us hear more about the compact double on that bike.
If you could have only one bike . . .

Took a break in my morning errands to snap a few pics of my new (to
me) 58 cm Atlantis. Trying a compact double crank on it (46/34).
Really liking the Acorn Boxy Rando bag. Pics here:
