I do have Boscos on my other bike, a too-small-for-me Rock Hopper, and they
work great. Because the Hilsen is sized right for me, I didn't need the
extreme rise that comes with the boscos, and I wanted to try a different
bar for variety. Lucky for me, the Albas turned out to be just the tic

Those look great, and I love (like love love) that color of bar tape. Just
curious why you went with Albatross instead of Bosco bars?

I've been wanting to switch from 46 Noodles to Albas or Boscos for some
time now. I had a chance to put some 52 Boscos on my Bay Area bike, and
it's been so fun it's only accelerated my desire to go upright with the
Hilsen. Not to mention Coconut Bill came up to Portland with his
Albatross'd 47 Hil
