You can also cut off up to about an inch off the bottom and it will work fine,
as long as you make sure you'll have enough threads on the bolt.

You should probably specify what extension your Tallux is and what extension
Tech DLX you want. Also, you should confirm that 26.0 clamp diameter is what
you have and want.
Also, the Pearl models are worth considering.

I have a nitto tallux stem on my Roadeo and it's so long that on the
smaller frame it can't go in any further and it's still a tad too tall. I
