14 miles on the Hillborne this morning. Somewhat windy and cool.
Definitely into my much slower winter riding speed. Wanted to take
advantage of the days before needing to pull out a bike with studded tires
as the main ride.

Ram with load outbound, 11 miles. '99 Joe gofast fixie inbound, also 11
miles, for some reason.
I have to say that there is definite advantage to a bike that is built for
weight (the '99 gf weighs 17.5 lb before I add the small saddle wedge and
bottle). Feeling a bit tired, I planned on bailing on
4" snow = 2 hrs shoveling driveway (plow service starts Dec. 1)
27 degree weather
Village plowed 5 mile bike path = 30 minute ride on Bombadil with Big Bens
