I was thinking of doing this also because the rear wheel on my Riv has
developed a bit of a wobble. So throw on the rear wheel from the Soma
until I get a chance to true up the Riv wheel. Both casettes are less than
three months old and both chains probably have less than 750 miles on

No, of course not! You might want to be careful to see that the inner
and outer limit adjustment screws are just right for

derailer limit adjustment

My two Rivs have GB and Velocity sets.
Both bikes are 8-speed with the same chains on 'em.
Is there anything wrong with swappin' wheelsets between the bikes just for
fun. I guess not. But as an un-mechanic am not sure if there is some hidden
thing I am not aware of.
