The worst rides have indelible lessons. They hold vivid details and lessons
to recall, some because of injury, others for the trials they presented
which were overcome.
The good news is that no one was hurt (done that: still crisp 12 years
later) and you got home, kit intact, to tell of it. St

commuted year-round, to and from work of considerable distance, by bicycle,
for the last 20 years along the American River Bicycle Trail in No.
California. It is an awesome trail with wildlife and scenery abound.
