That's a very generous suspicion, which I do not deserve...no, I never
checked that on that particular hub, in part because I didn't realize that
(some) PW axle ends are detachable at the time I got the wheel. It's an old
3-piece hub (chromed steel body, aluminum flanges), so I suspect the axle
