Give that dark gold a chanceyou might find that it grows on you,
especially when you see it in the flesh. Good luck with the bike, this
latest iteration sounds pretty swell.

Hey, thanks Kim! You've been very helpful to me through this process. I
decided to buy the 59 in dark gold. Now the wait begins. 😊

Hi Jaysun,
I found a 59cm Clem in green in Australia both in complete and framesets:

Yeah, I agree about the build. The dark gold is really not my favorite
color. I'm the guy that tried to buy a 59cm in Bronzey Green at 12:03pm
during the pre-sale and they were already gone. Clearly the bronzey green
is a popular color and I'm surprised Rivendell didn't order more in that
color
Unless you absolutely don't like the dark gold I would suggest grabbing a
new one from Rivendell because IMO there has never been a better stock
build then what they have now. I changed all kinds of parts on mine and I
don't think I would change a thing on the current one.

Nice example, Gabe. If it was a Medium (52cm) L, I'd be callin'! :-)

The unicorn exists! But, the search is still on.
I may have found a Rosco Baby to satisfy the step thru desire (of course it’s
not that amazing mustard). Still interested in finding a mustard Clem L though,
should anyone be willing to part with one.

It exists! Man I dig that color. If anyone finds a mustard Clem(entine) L
in 52cm.. wait, I don't need another bike, don't tell me! 😬

I think that was my old Clem. I got away with using a knurled 26.8 seatpost

is using a 27.0 seatpost, but I think options for that are even more
limited.

Ray, are you using the stock post that comes with those frames? I
encountered this issue on several MIT Rivs with the 26.8 post that passed

Just want to chime in and say that if you do go with the Mustard Clem H, I
think you should know that generation of Clem had an issue with the
seatpost lug not clamping well. Maybe they got it sorted out with later
stock, but my mustard clem h that I bought from someone on the group here

Yeah that's a chunk of change, plus whatever shipping would be. For that
kinda money you could order an L from Riv (when they're back) and have
their local guy paint it any dang color you want.

Whoa, nice. Quite the premium for mustard, but may go this route if nothing
better pops up. Thanks!

Brett, there WERE mustard Clem L’s - Grant had one at one point and a customer
convinced him to sell it. But they are rare as hen’s teeth. NOW, the mustard

It's well loved, does duty most days as a school bus or errand runner.
By the way, anyone know if 59cm Clem L in mustard was a combo Riv produced?
Realizing I've never seen a pic of one. Did they only make this in the H
version, or are there L's floating around out there?
