Flexibility is the achilies heel of plastic fenders. I tend to avoid them. The steel Bertoud fenders are far and away the rigid but the VO Al ones are pretty good too. Are you sure you have them secure at the fork crown? Attaching them to a front rack tends to make the whole thing more rigid

SKS chromoplastic fenders are easily trimmed with a pair of cutters and smoothed with a Dremel... That's how I do small tweaks to get it to fit between forks/stays without being bent or squished. A Dremel (or other rotary tool) will give you a lot of control to smooth it out and make it look ne
