Oh, it occurs to me that the "Sam Browne" stud may be a rivet-style installation, while the "button stud" (a couple entries lower on that same linked page) appears to be a threaded arrangement. Seeing that, I'd go for the "button stud" even if just as an experiment. The prices are so low that y
