Ouch, that's an ugly looking face plant. No doubt the pain of the damage
to your beloved ride will last longer than the face pain. Heal, be well,
and get back on a bike. The most dangerous seat at our age is the sofa.

So glad to hear that you are okay/wasn't worse. I had a friend who was
slammed down in a similar way from, of all things, a *squirrel* crossing
her path! Got stuck in her fork about the same way.
Your faith will come back—and you will have greater awareness I predict.

Joe,
Sorry to hear about your crash. Wishing you a successful and swift recovery
and you are back riding soon..
When you have your fork checked out inspect around the fork crown for

Thanks all. Oh yes Patrick a good concussion. I was on a 27 second loop for
more than 4 hours, none of which I remember. My wife is a saint. I am
taking recovery very seriously, with lots of rest. Not to start a helmet

wonder what happened in those few minutes you're missing, but I suspect
Ouch! Glad you're OK. How's your head? Were you checked for a concussion?
Loosing a tooth can mean one or not, depending on the impact. Prayers for
your rapid healing.

So glad you weren’t hurt badly.
Yellow Jersey straightened the fork of my XO-5 after an unfortunate meeting
with a minivan.
They did a great job with an unbelievably fast turnaround.
I’ve noticed no ill affects from the bend and repair but will let anyone
know if I ever foolishly consider selling
