Don't think the sackville shopsack will work out without a basket. The handles aren't all that long to be able to hook around handlebars. I've got the large and it's a great size for my farmers' market shopping - and probably a tad too big for my morning commutebut works out when I hit up

It looks like it would be fairly easy to sew in new straps that were longer. In fact the way the bag is constructed you could do a number of handle / strap mods. I could see the cotton webbing straps that Lesli spoke of, or even leather handles. John On Oct 15, 6:29 pm, jandrews_nyc wrote: > I

The tote is the first sackville bag the I like, the rest look clunky and ugly to me. I was going to buy a medium but Riv is sold out right now. On Oct 15, 2:42 pm, Lesli wrote: > I have one too. Mine has a nice rigid form that stands up on its own > when placed on the ground.  I love the cotton

I have one too. Mine has a nice rigid form that stands up on its own when placed on the ground. I love the cotton duck fabric and two way ykk zips. For revision, I wish they had gone with cotton rather than nylon webbing straps (I really prefer the handle of cotton webbing although it's near

I confess to being a fan of most of the current Sackville line (though the SaddleSack Small and the SlickerSack have not yet found their way to me and I am not attracted to the "grid" series). So it is no surprise that I greatly appreciate the ShopSack Medium I have used a few times now. And I ful
