I bought them because I hate wearing rain pants, but I also dislike
walking into a restaurant on a rainy day bicycle tour and leaving a

I switched the low-profile Shimano's to Mafac cantilever on my
Quickbeam shortly after I bought it. IMHO they are wonderful.
High profile cantilievers seem to work well with aero brake levers.
