Canti's killed the SO for me. I was set to get one when it was the Tektro long reach. On Dec 12, 11:14 am, mike wrote: > I bought a Simple One frame, and built it mostly from the parts bin. > I'm OK with canti brakes on it.  I would have been equally OK with > sidepulls. > > The bike is my primar

I bought a Simple One frame, and built it mostly from the parts bin. I'm OK with canti brakes on it. I would have been equally OK with sidepulls. The bike is my primary commuting (1-2x/week) and shopping bike. I have a small front basket and a rear rack. I have battery lights front and back, gr

The fixed gear craze seems kind of over, but I don't think that was the prime mover on Quickbeam sales, anyway, especially with canti posts. I do think the cantis are appropriate, though, since the SO and QB aren't st

Agreed; people seem to want to buy a vintage road frame and convert to SS or FG. $250 for frame + $250 for powder coat, half the price of a SO. IMHO, Steve -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To view this discussion on the
