Looks like a great build and I can't wait to see those bosco's on that frame.
I've got a supernova E3 pro2 as well, for the past year and it's a good light.
If you get a chance try to look at one of the latest B&M Cyo Premium's
though... I got one back in October and the difference is amazing,
I LOVE the NeedL BlastR!
Brian's name for it, by the way.
It's going to be fun, Liesl.

I love the tall and handsome post, the finish is amazing like all Paul

Nice build choices. +1 on the Phil 7-spd (or any freewheel
hub)...especially if you prefer friction shifting.. I think 7 speeds is
ideal; I've never been very adept at nailing my friction shifts with a
9-spd cassette, but maybe that's just me.
Above all... choose what YOU want !!

Micheal, no need to sell me on White hubs; I have a set and love them! The
plan is to work with Rich Lesnick and get it sorted out! Rich is the
Wheelman; Mark's the Buildman -Liesl

The White Hub is $100 less than the PW and will give you very smooth and

Consider running Grip Rings instead. I like the free expression of
colorways for free spirits like you, Liesl. Plus the rubbery cushy part,
too.

Yes, RJM is correct: the Phil Rivy hub is freewheel. You'd be limited to a
7-speed freewheel on the Phil.
If you want to run 9 speeds on the rear, you need a cassette hub. The Phil
cassette hub is almost $500, and is gorgeous. The mid-level Shimano hubs
are ~$50-75, and perfectly ok.

Exciting!
Do you mean 26" Aeroheat rims? I think Aeroheat is Velocity's touring-type
rim.
Are you getting the Phil Cassette hub (per your SRAM 9-sp cassette)? or the
Phil Rivvy 7-sp freewheel style?
Big Bens-- I really enjoy them on my Hunqapillar. They roll really nicely.
Did you consider the
I like it. Bosco bullmoose will look awesome on that frame.
You indicated a Phil Rivy hub in back. I think those are freewheel hubs so
it won't work with your 9 speed cassette.
I favor the Deore RD over the XT. A classy, working bike derailer that
functions great.
