Another vote for those mentioned already: Back Alley, Free Range, and
20/20. All very welcoming shops with great staff, all very familiar with
Riv. Bikeworks is also an amazing shop with awesome mechanics!

I second both Back Alley and Free Range. I also recommend Counterbalance (along
Burke Gilman near U-village). Recycled Cycles in the U-district has good used
parts bind to scavenge.

Back Alley Bike Repair located downtown built up my AHH last year and did a
great job. Free Range Cycles in Fremont used to carry a riv or two, not
sure if they still do but I'd trust them also. I bought a Surly LHT from
them years ago and I'd always take it in for servicing.
