It is good of you to share these difficult issues with which you are
dealing. I am desperately searching for a support group for owners of
match-built Riv Roads AND maxway-built, green Sams with non-spotted forks.

I will agree that the diagonal tube has always "puzzled" me and I didn't
like the fact that it wasn't going all the way to the rear dropouts. On
Monday, when I went to pick up the Betty I saw the unpainted prototype up
close with wheels on. It has more clearance than the Bombadil so the Big
Apples
I just noticed the addition of a 5th size of Hunqapillar. The 51
plops between the 48 and 54 initially offered when they were doing the
pre-sale. When you select that size on the drop down menu, it tells
you the 51 is $1600 while all others are $1500.
Add that to my confusion about the delivery

I think that diagonal tube is great. Rivendell can keep making the
Atlantis forever (and they should), but when they introduce a new
bike, it is nice that they really do something different. If you want
parallel top tubes, the Bombadil is there for you.
