Shifter is stand-alone, originally for a Shimano IGH. I have a set of used Tektro levers that were used with disk brakes, so I think they work for V brakes as well. "Mountain" bar size for all of them. All have cables. Happy to donate to a charity build. Nick W. (Sorry if this message dup
