I have an NFE and a Roscoe Road, which is not unlike the MIT Homer, I imagine.
I love them both and they feel quite different to me. The BB drop of the Riv is
very noticeable when I get underway and then the bike disappears under me. The
NFE doesn't toodle as well as the roscoe. It seems to give

The longer chainstays will give you what you want. The AHH stays are
47.5cm. I have a 53 MIT Atlantis with 52cm stays. Cushy ride but still
responsive.

It's the standard 73 degree headtube with 65mm rake. Around 34 or 35.

I'm actually not sure what the exact trail measurement is, but everything
I've read refers to it as "low trail". It handles like other low trail
bikes I've ridden which I very much like.

What is the trail on the NFE? Isn't it more mid-trail? Just curious - my
low trail is 35mm of trail and my Gunnar is 65mm which is quite the
difference.

I (pre)ordered one the other day. I’ve been wanting an an AHH for a while now
but the MUSA frames were just out of my budget, so I jumped at the MIT version.
Admittedly I’d prefer the more horizontal top tube and shorter wheel base, but
what can you do. My only bike now is an elephant Nfe which
Ok I give up. I tried to acknowledge my typo to Jonathan and made another one.
Y'all know what I meant! ;-)

I believe it is the 650B AHH with sidebulls and lighter tubing and the 700C Sam
with Cantis.

I just saw the samples in person. I was killing time waiting for a flight back
to Seattle this evening, and took BART out to RBW, since I wanted to pickup
some new Dia Compe 610’s.
Will showed me the new Taiwan Homers, and they look great! A little more

If the website is accurate (wink!) the Homer takes a 27.2mm seatpost, while
the Sam takes a 26.8mm. That's one tube that has 0.2mm thinner wall
thickness on the Homer, at least at one end...

Jandrews: I would say you nailed the differences. You get your Country Bike in
650B with cantis, or go with a more traditional Country "Road Bike" Bike vibe
with 700C and sidepulls. Your choice!

Ooh, it looks like XO-1 Construction Pumpkin. I didn't expect that! Nobody in
25 years has been able to match it on purpose, so of course Riv did it without
trying 🙂
