I don't know if this was the intent, but on mine, I needed to use those high braze-ons for my rack (Tubus Cosmo). Mounted to the lower braze-ons, the rack isn't tall enough to clear the big tires and fenders. I was afraid it would look weird, but it doesn't: http://www.flickr.com/photos/54529...
