Welcome, Philip. As others have suggested a call to Rivendell would be a
great way to go. They're really good at matching people's needs, riding
style, preferences, etc. with their frames and getting you matched up with
the right frame size.

Definitely call Rivendell and discuss your needs. Also, properly measure
your PBH as it will be greater than your trouser inseam. There should be
instructions on the Rivendell website. I'm on mobile, but perhaps someone
can link? That will help with working out what size frame might work.

Hi Philip, the answers to all of these questions and more can easily be
answered by anyone at Rivendell HQ. You can find the telephone number on
the website rivbikedotcom, where you can also have a look at the current

Hi Kevin,
I'm also new to the group. I'm partly based in Down East Maine and partly
in Texas. I got my Hunqapillar on July 11 this year and have been enjoying
it around Washington and Hancock counties in Maine since then. One of the
first things I did was to ride in the 100 mile version of the
Welcome, Kevin C.! Beautiful bikes you have there. Now that you have

Welcome to the group. In addition to connecting with other Rivendell
riders in your area, you can also make contact with people in other areas
as your travel plans develop. There's nothing like local knowledge when in

Welcome Kevin C! This is a great community, I'm not in NE but I am a bit
closer than some down in the DC area. Atlantis and Rodeo make for nice
bookends in any Riv-enthusiast's garage... looks like they both get plenty

Thanks for the compliments on my bikes. They are a real joy to ride.
The Roadeo has Jack Browns 33's on Mavic Open Pro rims. Yeah, the picture
does make them look fairly large.

That white thing would be a wrapped hay bail (or a giant marshmallow,

Hello Scot,
I'm fairly new to following this list and haven't posted before. I've
owned an Atlantis for about 10 months - love it! - and use it daily on
a 30 mile round-trip commute. I've taken it on a couple of short

If you purchased a bike from The Country Bike Store, you must know
what a pleasant purchase experience is. My visit there was just a
wonderful day trip. My friend and I just chatted with the Dennings for
hours. And the shop is just what a store that sells Country Bikes
should be.
