I'll gush... I agree about the classy classic black with white details. Semigloss even better. Those Rivs with can hang out with the classics. There was a Rosco Bubbe that had something like a flat sage green that I liked a lot. The flat/matte finish is like the gray that comes to mind when

a dusty light-red (also known as a dusty pink) would look very good with red accents and bags, same amount of white in it as the sage blue, a touch of blue to cool it down to pastel, a hint of black to mute it. 80% white, 14% red, 2% blue 4% black. Think about it, it's foolproof. On Satur

Patrick, After seeing some of the examples posted, I'm really digging silver and battleship gray. If your powder coater can in fact get you the green you want (sage, you said?), then obviously that's best. I've found it's very hard to imagine a color on a bike from a paint chip. Something abo

My Sam came in Sage, and I like it. I get compliments, so others think it is a good color as well. But if I was doing a custom repaint I’d go for 1968 Camaro Rally Green. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1968-chevrolet-camaro-32/ I used to paint my Nash Metropolitans this color. It wouldn’t go

Patrick, One of the great attributes of Sage Green is its subtlety compared to purer colors -- red, blue, yellow, etc. A color that has a similar quality that you may have already considered is a light beige -- sort of the color of VW Beetles of long ago. I loved Beetles of this color. I loo
