I had an Aerobie when I was in middle school. Back in the late 80’s. I can wing a disk pretty well. I gave my Aerobie all I had one day. I watched it clear tall trees a couple hundred yards away. It was just going, going, gone. I didn’t hunt for it. I’m still proud of that toss to this day. --

The point of the Aerobie, pure and simple, is distance. It's why it was invented and it's no contest with other flying discs. But for disc golf, other team disc sports, or dog fetching you definitely need something with more heft. On the subject of discs and bikecamping, back in my rockclimbing
