The Legolas doesn't seem to vary from the Roadeo geometry by much.
Both have 73 seat angles, both will fit 35mm tire (bigger than that in
the Legolas front), similar front ends with trails calculated at
61Roadeo and 63Legolas using 35mm tires. BB drop is 70mm Legolas,
73-77Roadeo, compare to 80mm o

IIRC, it was a short run one summer 3 years ago, with the idea that it
would likewise be an occasional/seasonal short run frame, but i don't
remember seeing anything else from Grant about it lately. I'd guess
with the name issues and the fact that it was never meant to be a
regular production frame
Does anyone know if there will ever be another run of the Legolas?
Seems like RBW sold them briefly a few years ago and not since then.

Besides cantis vs sidepulls, I believe the Legolas has a higher BB but
I don't have the numbers.
FWIW, they have different geometry.
ST/HT angles (59cm) are Legolas 73/72.5 -- Roadeo 72/73.
Chainstay: Legolas 44 / Roadeo 43.5
Rake: Legolas 45 / Roadeo 43

What would you say is the difference between a Legolas and a Roadeo?
Cantis vs sidepulls? What else?
If I had the cash I suspect I'd be all over this bike. Seems like the
best deals come up when times are tough. :(

I stopped by RBW and Keven's renewed Legolas is still available. Keven
replaced the bashed chainstay and had it freshly painted. It also has
an uncut steer tube, so it's about as close to new as you can get, now
that the LOTR movie people have ordered a stop to Riv's use of the
Legolas name.

If you are on the fence, buy Keven's bike.
I can't say enough good things about my 62cm Legolas. It works great
as a pure road bike, with excellent climbing and descending manners.
Finally, with the Legolas I may understand Jan's concept of Planing.
But of course this frame will take 35mm knobbies
