My C17 carved is by far the most comfortable new saddle I've ever bought, I was comfortable straight away. I have a C19, it's on my most current build, so I have not ridden it yet, but I fully expect no problems. I have half a dozen bikes with various B17s & I love them, but they take a while be

I've had a c19 on my LHT for about a month after going through no less than 5 other saddles to replace a B67 that wore out. I love the narrow nose but wish the sit-bone area was flatter, although the slight curve is not a deal breaker and not uncomfortable. HOWEVER... it is rock hard with very

I've purchased two well-used B17s in the last year, and they're both absurdly comfortable. Embrace the beater Brooks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an

This is a thread drift, but only slightly: The comments here and on iBob inspired me to give the *C15* a go. I have one on demo from my LBS right now. It's almost an exact match in terms of shape with a hideous-but-oh-so-comfy plastic saddle I pulled off a cracked frame scrap heap Specialized A

Agreed. If you're looking for the closest in width to the B17, I would look for a shop that has a C19 you could demo. Because the Cambiums are more rounded on top, I've found they feel a bit narrower than their leather counterparts. Although the 19 doesn't come in a short-nosed version like the

Alex Thanks for the candid C17/-19 comments, especially from a shop owner. I guess if you are happy with a B17, then don't change. When the tensioning bolt is maxed out get a new one. The C17/-19 appeal seemed to be: * It should last a very long time as it should not stretch. * It is not af

Imo the cambiums are love hate. I personally think they missed the mark by a large margin if they were indeed chasing after the feel of a broken-in Brooks. Having tried a C17 and C19 for several weeks each, I'm not a fan. Some people that come in the shop love them I think they're crazy.

Hi, I bought one for my wife and her Clem. She was not thrilled with it, she much preferred the stock saddle or a Brooks B.135. So I tried it and liked it. I use it on my Brompton with great success. I also have the C17 on my Rivendell Custom and a C15 on my 29'er MTB. They are nice saddles. Ch
