I used the two-stay SKS fenders with plastic quick-release blocks for
5 years. It's a good way to go. Your fender line will elicit helpful
advice from your friends, though! Carrying an 8mm wrench will let you
adjust your fender in seconds when you change over, though, so you can
have a happier fend
